Provectus Care Mansion

In March 2018, Provectus Care, Greenland Hong Kong and Shanghai International Medical Centre (SIMC) entered into a joint venture agreement to develop and operate a dementia specific care centre in Shanghai’s premier medical zone.

Greenland Hong Kong is part of the Greenland Holdings Group – a state backed entity with presence in over 100 cities globally. It has been recognised as the No 1 Chinese property developer by Fortune Global 500 and brings to this partnership, property construction and development skills and the connections to identify future potential sites.

SIMC is a top modern comprehensive medical provider in Shanghai, and brings to the partnership, its expertise in medical management and services. It also owns the property being used as the Dementia Facility.

Provectus Care adds to this partnership by consulting and managing the clinical and care standards to ensure that the internationally acclaimed Australian standards in both the accommodation and care standards are being implemented.

The initial project with Greenland and SIMC is the 57 bed, specialised dementia care facility located within the Shanghai International Medical Centre complex, in Shanghai’s premier medical zone in Pudong District. The facility known as Provectus Care Mansion, opened in 2019 and represents an exciting step forward both for Provectus’ operations in China as well as for the Chinese operators who seek to bring their local aged care facilities in line with international best practice standards. The close relationship between the three joint venture partners for this project is a symbiotic example of the integrated health care model whereby the broader medical complex allows for the provision of elite medical care to residents. In 2022, Provectus Care divested its interest in this project to Shanghai International Medical Centre.
