Dr Shane Moran
Managing Director
Dr Shane Moran has over 35 years’ experience in developing and managing a range of commercial businesses in the Australian and International Aged Care and Health Care industries. He has been extensively involved in designing, project managing and operating the full range of Aged Care and Seniors Living services (including dementia-specific aged care facilities, acute and medical private hospitals and retirement villages) both in Australia and overseas.
Dr Moran has been a long term advisor to the Health and Aged Care Industries, has practiced as a Lawyer since 1985 and has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Health, his thesis focusing on the aged care crisis in China.
Penelope Moran
Director and Legal Counsel

Mrs Moran has extensive experience in the areas of health and aged care business development and administration.  She has a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Technology.  As an admitted solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales with over ten years work experience in the aged care and seniors living industry, Mrs Moran has deep knowledge of aged care law in Australia.  She oversees our relationship with the Department of Human Services and Aged Care Pricing Commissioner and she is responsible for prudential and regulatory compliance for the Group. Mrs Moran is also involved with new aged care developments and projects.

Rae Jamieson
Operations and Risk Manager

Mrs Jamieson is the Operations and Risk Manager for the Provectus Care Group. She has twenty years’ experience in the aged care industry, working in various senior leadership roles. She oversees the daily operations of the facilities in the Group to ensure quality control, safety, business efficiencies, procurements, and staff management.  Mrs Jamieson has a strong commitment to safety and quality, building leadership capability and driving exceptional performance outcomes. Mrs Jamieson is a recognised young leader in the aged care industry and is a LASA Next Gen Ambassador.

Sharyn McIlwain
Clinical Quality and Compliance Manager

Ms McIlwain is the Clinical Quality and Compliance Manager for the Provectus Care Group. Having worked in the health and aged care sector for well over two decades, Ms McIlwain has a depth of experience working with the elderly in the aged care sector.  Ms McIlwain is responsible for the development, monitoring and management of all clinical quality and compliance aspects of the business within the Group to ensure high quality, safe and person centred care in compliance with the Aged Care Act and the Aged Care Quality Standards.

Ms McIlwain trained as a nurse, then grew her leadership skills during her twenty-five year career. She has worked as a carer and progressed onto management and leadership roles.  She has gained invaluable experience caring for the elderly and built strong relationships with government departments through her varied roles across the aged care sector.  Ms McIlwain has previously managed facilities and led many organisations through ongoing changes associated with the aged care sector through her roles as Principal Advisor for Residential Aged Care and State Manager for LASA (now ACCPA).  Ms McIlwain has also travelled extensively in prior roles so has first hand experiences with residential aged care facilities around the world.

Diana (Yan Bin) Xiang
International Projects Director

Ms Xiang is a Chinese born Australian with a Bachelor of Nursing degree from the Australian Catholic University and a Diploma of Business Management from the Australian Careers Business College. As a registered nurse, Ms Xiang has over 25 years’ experience in aged care, specialising in dementia care. She is also currently the International Projects Director, leading our business development and project implementation efforts in China. Ms Xiang is fluent in English, Mandarin and several Chinese dialects.

Sally Taylor
Managing Director, Retirement by Moran

Ms Taylor draws on her global corporate background to bring a strong strategic perspective to the Group.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law, graduating from Monash University with Honours in Law. Ms Taylor also completed post graduate business studies at the University of NSW. Her time at Blake Dawson Waldron (now Ashurst ) gave her a strong grounding in Corporate Business Law.  Ms Taylor leads the Group’s retirement living division that operates premium seniors living facilities across Australia. She is focused on expanding our retirement living business and developing new opportunities for the group and is passionate about providing “wonderful, easy, connected and engaging environments for our over-55 residents”.
